Inventory View can be reached from Installation Material Control, or from Fabrication Material Control. In either case, you select Tools, Job Inventory/Pricing, Items as shown below.

In SpoolFab version 8-795, the column that in earlier versions was labeled as “Estimated” is now labeled “TotalINST” as it lists the total contents of all saved installation drawings, with the exception of those that have been marked as cancelled, i.e. having status X, Y or Z.

(In earlier versions the “Estimated” column listed the field portion of non-canceled INST drawings. This turned out to be not a particularly useful number as it was dependent on the number of drawings that had been split into spools.)

To update the TotalINST column, get into Installation Material Control and select Tools, Inventory Update Only.

The Drawn column lists the contents of all saved spool drawings, except for those spools marked as Canceled. To update the Drawn column, get into Installation Material Control and select Tools, Inventory Update Only.
